Marios is the driving force behind the operational synergy at ANDY, overseeing the complex intersection of Warehousing and Distribution, Flatbed, and Drayage/Intermodal divisions. Since joining the team in 2024 and expanding his leadership across multiple business units, he has been instrumental in ensuring that our freight moves with precision and purpose. From managing capacity to navigating the real-time challenges of the supply chain, Marios ensures that every piece of equipment and every process is perfectly aligned to meet our customers' needs.
With a deep focus on safety and efficiency, Marios balances the fast-paced demands of two of our transport divisions with the strategic oversight of our warehousing and distribution facilities. His dedication to consistency and operational excellence ensures that ANDY continues to deliver on its promise of reliability, both on the road and in the warehouse.
Can you tell us about what your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
My day-to-day involves coordinating teams, ensuring freight flows efficiently, managing capacity and solving operational challenges as they arise. I focus on keeping people, equipment, and processes aligned so we can deliver safely and on time for our customers.
How do you adapt your safety leadership to address the unique risks of both high-volume warehouses and the specialized demands of drayage and flatbed transport?
Safety is the foundation of our daily operations. I make it part of every meeting and every decision, from warehouse floor-loading to a flatbed securement. We conduct frequent specialized training sessions, daily equipment checks, and we ensure compliance is proactive rather than reactive. I encourage open discussions where team members can raise concerns. Most importantly, I empower everyone to speak up because a strong safety culture only works when the whole team is engaged.

What do you enjoy most about leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment?
I enjoy the energy, problem-solving, and teamwork. No two days are the same, and that keeps me motivated. Watching my team grow, overcome challenges, and succeed together is the most rewarding part of the job.
What does success look like to you in your role as Operations Manager?
For me, success means safe employees, smooth operations, and satisfied customers. It’s about creating a strong team culture, delivering consistently, and building trust through reliability and accountability. When our team works confidently, and our customers feel supported, that’s success.
