Andy Transport announces executive appointments, strengthening its leadership team in key areas

Montreal, January 24, 2022 – Andy is incredibly pleased to announce that Louis Vaugeois and Richard Séguin two heavy-weight industry professionals, join the team as Andy’s Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, Transport Operations, respectively, effective immediately.

In his new role, Louis will be responsible for driving the company’s short and long-term technology vision and infrastructure needs to support the corporate strategic growth plan.

He will be defining, refining and communicating the vision in the IT architecture, requirements and solutions to support Andy Group’s business strategies. He will also oversee the development and implementation of appropriate systems for the organization in different business segments, including transport, fleet management, real estate and logistics to ensure business continuity and safeguard security.


Louis Vaugeois is a veteran in the world of transportation and logistics. He has dedicated nearly 3 decades to the field since he entered the transportation industry in 1992.


Louis is constantly looking to evolve, gain knowledge and find new challenges. He developed skills in business analysis, project management and helped pioneer some of the earliest uses of mobile technology in the industry. He earned a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Concordia University while working full-time.


A passion for technology and business has always been the driving factor. He has developed technological solutions, selected systems and successfully implemented several systems in many technological fields that expand beyond logistics.

In his new role, Richard will be responsible for managing all aspects of the trucking operational functions of Andy Transport: overseeing the day-to-day requirements of profitable order acceptance, effective planning of routing and driver assignments, commercial activities, asset management, etc. Additionally, Richard will develop and execute strategies that will drive growth, increase profitability and provide critical leadership support to its drivers and operational teams.


Richard brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in the transportation industry, overseeing trucking operations, terminals and port activities, as well as maintenance and fleet management. Richard is a well-versed veteran in the transportation industry and a strong believer that the company’s operations hub is the engine that keeps the wheels turning in a company.


Prior to joining Andy, Richard has held several executive positions in the transportations industry, overseeing the LTL, TL, dedicated, flatbed, intermodal and logistics operations.
