Andy Transport announces the opening of its new terminal in Mississauga with the objective of growing an Ontario-based fleet

Montreal, January 21, 2022 — To start the year on a positive note, Andy is pleased to officially announce the opening of a new terminal strategically located in Mississauga, Ontario, with immediate access to several main highways: 402, 427, 403 and 407 leading to the border with New York, US. Part of Andy’s growth plan, this aims to strengthen its footprint in the GTA area.
This strategic move will allow Andy, with the support of Andy’s new Terminal Manager on site, Cosmin Andreescu, an accomplished industry professional, to hire experienced drivers and owner-operators locally, aiming to reach the first year’s objective of growing a fleet of 50 trucks based in this terminal.
In his new role, Cosmin will be responsible for the expansion of Andy Transport’s operation in Ontario. He will also oversee the entire terminal including all transportation activities and ensure safe operations.
Cosmin holds a Bachelor of Economics and has over 15 years of experience in transportation, logistics, and warehousing. He has held various roles with increased responsibilities during his career, spanning from driving trucks, operating a warehouse, owning a small trucking company to managing complex logistics projects for customers in Canada and in the US. Outside of work, Cosmin enjoys following his favorite soccer team Juventus and spending time with his family.
